Mid-Hudson Huaxia Chinese
School
Code of Conduct
The
operation of Mid-Hudson Huaxia Chinese School (MHHCS) depends on the strong support of Roy C. Ketcham (RCK) High School. Our
continued use of RCK facilities is contingent upon our good behavior and positive relationship with RCK. For the long term
benefit of MHHCS and for the protection of RCK properties, we establish the following rules, which will be strictly enforced
and must be followed by all MHHCS members (teachers, students, and parents).
- Never touch any computer, TV, VCR, or any electronic equipment.
- Do not move, remove, use, or damage classroom supplies, books, teaching materials,
or personal belongings.
- Never park vehicles in fire zones or restricted parking areas.
- Keep desks and chairs in their original position after each school session.
- Keep classrooms clean and do not leave anything behind.
- Never open any drawer or cabinet.
- Do not write on blackboards, whiteboards, bulletin boards, desk blotters, calendars,
or posters, except when writing on blackboards for the purpose of teaching and learning.
- Do not erase anything left on the board labeled “Do Not Erase”.
- Never eat or drink in classrooms.
- Do not run, chase, climb, play, fight, or shout in classrooms, hallways, or stairs.
- Do not touch any fire alarm equipment unless there is an actual fire.
- Report any accident immediately to any board member or parent on duty.
MHHCS Board of Directors has the full authority to take appropriate action against anyone who violates
the above code of conduct.
